Oh Allah! Please forgive us

For those times that we ignore you.

I’m sure you know, deep in our hearts,

We truely do adore you.

The water that you send down

Is the essence by which we live.

It shows you love us, Oh my Lord!

And so I know you love to forgive.

You’ve created us in the best way,

But we’re always demanding for more.

While very few actually praise you

And humble their head to the floor.

Our lives are empty without you,

You fill our hearts with all the hope.

You’re the light in all this darkness,

When we feel we can’t cope.

Your name echoes through desert winds,

No soul can say they’ve never heard.

Your reality becomes clear

With every single pious word.

We commit wrong and sin everyday,

But still a lot of us do not care.

Without your mercy Oh my Lord!

Our souls would be in despair.

We are but humans on your Earth,

Our actions are based on desire.

Only with your help and guidance

Can we reach to skies much higher.
