Thank You

I’d like to confess

That I’ve never felt

A desire as such

That makes my heart melt.

I know it’s been long

But I might as well say,

My passion for You

Grows greater every day.

If I was to tell You

How much You mean to me,

Then the people will say

“Look! Tahir’s gone crazy!”

But they don’t understand

This hole in my soul.

How will they ever know

That I just lose control?

You’ve taught me so much -

How to live and how to earn.

But most importantly

You’ve taught me how to learn.

So I want to say thank you,

Thank you for being there.

If it wasn’t for You

I’d be ruined in despair.

Thank you my Lord.
