Oh Merciful, I’m in shame

For those deeds that I have done.

You made it clear but I still

Did the wrongs just for the fun.

Now I’m here on my knees,

Head on the floor, crying out.

Please forgive. I’m sorry.

In your mercy I don’t doubt.

I’m not the best but I try to be,

I push myself and I know

That only you can help me see

What to do and where to go.

So I lay my trust in you

Because I know that you know best.

I’m just another creation

Made by you. Just like the rest.

Please show the light cuz my mind

Is filled with darkness and I’m lost.

Unable to cleanse my soul.

Unable to pay the cost.
